The new iPhone 4 was the biggest release last week, however for some users this release has turned into a nightmare, it didn’t take long before users began to report issues with screen discoloration.
The first set of iPhones which have reached users have been found to have screens which are tinted yellow. Some users have reported that there are blotches of yellow screen discolorations in the bottom part of the screen.
According to reports, the discoloration might be due to the binding agent used to glue the screen onto the device, that didn’t have time to dry before shipping the product. Apparently, Apple (or more likely Foxconn) is shipping these products so quickly that the evaporation process is not complete, and therefore users are now experiencing these yellow blotches.
According to Apple, after a few days of use the evaporation process will be completed and the yellow ‘blotches’ will disappear. In other words, if you’ve been experiencing this issue, sit tight, perhaps it will evaporate itself.
