Steve Jobs shoots down USB 3 rumors.

It has long been rumored that the next Macs would ship with USB 3, however according to 9to5Mac Steve Jobs as now denied this through is most favored medium, the e-mail, when asked whether future Macs would include USB 3 support Steve simply replied:

We don’t see USB 3 taking off at this time. No support from Intel, for example.

So while we have all been looking forward to getting our hands on the latest USB technology it seems like it will be a while before it will play nice with our Apple devices.
