As expected Verizon todays press conference was all about the iPhone 4 and the fact that they have acquired the right to sell the iPhone starting February 10 with pre-orders beginning on February 10th.
The phone will sport the new antenna design which was leaked in an early video. The new design has moved the antenna break position from the top to the sides of the device. According to macrumors.com “The change may simply be to accommodate CDMA’s different communication frequency rather than address the antenna issue from the original design.”
The iPhone will connect to the CDMA network and will be $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model (with a 2-year contract and required data plan, of course). The big news? A mobile hotspot is included, allowing you to connect up to five devices through the iPhone.
