For the travelers among you this will be interesting!!!

If you are headed to Madrid, Spain and for some reason left your beloved iPad at home, then a new service developed by PadInTheCity means you will never be alone again, the service offers the possibility to  rent an iPad to use on your trip. For €39 (around $55) per day, visitors can rent a 3G iPad, with unlimited data access, and nearly 30 pre-installed tourism and business apps to help them make the most of their trip.

Rentals are arranged through the company’s website; tell them when you’re in the city, provide your personal details, and arrange a place to collect the iPad. Payments can be made using PayPal, so you don’t need to worry about using your card abroad. You will, however, have to provide your card details so that PadInTheCity can apply a €500 hold in case the device isn’t returned.

The iPad is then delivered to your hotel ready for your arrival, or will even meet you at the train station or airport. You then have easy access to news, maps, the internet, and radio on the go – all of which are incredibly useful things to have while you’re in a foreign country. As well as the iPad, you get a case and a charger, and once it’s all returned at the end of your stay, the €500 hold will be removed from your card.
